Paul Sabu Rogers’, professional career in television production and film started in 1984, after a brief but productive career as a jazz and R&B musician.  The music business took him from Chicago to New York, finally settling in Los Angeles in 1975, after tours with notable musical acts.  This is where he became infatuated with the power of images to express creative ideas.  After attending Pasadena City College and UCLA to become formally educated in the discipline of film and television media, Paul has worked steadily at honing his creative and technical sensibilities, from working as a cameraman for commercial production companies to editing, writing, directing, and producing for the government, corporate and entertainment marketplace.

In the last 10 years, Paul has been responsible for the creative production of hundreds of presentations which range from television commercials, music-videos, cable television pilots, electronic press kits, and dramatic shorts and documentary film projects.  Many of Paul Sabu’s projects have been through the efforts of his long-time production company, BMV Productions. Currently, he is combining his talents with other inspired collaborators such as, producer, Rosie Lee Hooks, Oscar award winning filmmaker, Willie Burton and others.  Recently, his efforts have been combined with Charles Woods Gray to launch , Plaza Noir Inc.
