Chayse Irvin, Director of Photography is making all the right moves. The youngest DOP ever to be invited into the International Photographers Guild, has just completed… “Spirit in the Stone” and this month the premiere of Blacktino will be screened at the SXSW Festival.
Born and raised in Vancouver British Columbia Canada, Chayse Irvin has had a passion for film production and story telling since he was 10 years old when he was making short films with friends and family members. Chayse attended Capilano University’s Film program and graduated on the Deans List. Chayse is a Canadian/American citizen, who is now passionately working full time shooting feature films, documentaries, commercials, as well as music videos around North America and abroad. Chayse is the youngest Director of Photography in International Photographers Guild history. Some of Chayse recent works include “1-59″, directed by Loyd Bateman, “Switch” directed by Randy Ross “Open Diaries“, directed by Sasha Schriber, “Son of the Sunshine ” directed by Ryan Ward, “Some Boys Don’t Leave” directed by Maggie Kiley just to name a few.
