The festival includes chaired panel discussions and writers’ workshops.

The festival started in Acapulco, Mexico and later moved to Miami and is held in a range of venues including Regal Cinemas 18. The festival is open to anyone and, with more than 2500 attendees, is normally booked up by May, so bag your place early. Film executives from the major studios such as Walt Disney, Warner Brothers and Miramax regularly attend, so if there’s a script you’re burning to direct or an actor you’re looking for, then this is the place to come.
